Editorial Policy & Earnings Disclaimer

Last updated: 28 October 2026

People use our tools to decide what to charge, which platform to focus on, or whether a creator is worth a budget. This page sets out how we try to make those numbers trustworthy, and where their limits are.

Our principles

  • Show the working. Every calculator shows its formula, the multipliers it applies and the benchmark ranges it compares against. If you disagree with an assumption, you can see exactly where it enters the result.
  • Ranges, not false precision. Creator earnings vary widely between accounts that look identical on paper. We give ranges and explain what pushes a result to either end.
  • Usefulness over volume. We publish a tool or guide only when it answers a real question better than what is already available, and we'd rather update an existing page than publish a thin new one.
  • Independence. No advertiser, platform or brand can pay to change a benchmark, a calculation or a recommendation.

How we build calculators and set benchmarks

Our benchmarks are working ranges compiled from public sources: industry benchmark reports from social media analytics and influencer marketing companies, the platforms' own documentation and policy pages (for example YouTube Partner Program requirements and revenue shares), and earnings data creators publish about their own channels. Where sources disagree, we use a range that covers the credible middle rather than the most optimistic figure.

Before a calculator goes live, we test it against worked examples by hand, check the edge cases (very small and very large accounts, zero values, unusual ratios) and make sure every figure quoted in the accompanying guide matches what the tool actually calculates.

We use software tools, including AI writing and coding assistants, to help draft text and code. Every page is reviewed and edited by a person, and every number is checked against the calculator and its sources before publication. We do not publish automatically generated pages.

Reviews and updates

Platforms change their feeds, ad products and monetization rules frequently. We review each tool's assumptions periodically and whenever a platform announces a relevant change, and each guide shows when it was last reviewed. When an update changes a calculator's results materially, we say so on the page.

Corrections

If you think something is wrong, an outdated benchmark, a broken calculation or a factual error in a guide, email info@digitalkari.com with the page and what you believe is incorrect. We investigate every report. When we confirm an error we fix it promptly, and where the correction is significant we note it on the page with the date.

Advertising and independence

DigitalKari is free to use and is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are labelled "Advertisement" and kept visually separate from our content and tools. We do not choose the individual ads you see, and showing an ad is not an endorsement of the advertiser.

We do not currently publish sponsored content or use affiliate links. If that changes, sponsored pages will be clearly labelled as sponsored, affiliate links will be disclosed on the page where they appear, and neither will influence how our calculators work or what they recommend.

Earnings disclaimer

All figures produced by DigitalKari's calculators, including engagement ratings, sponsorship prices, RPM and CPM figures, and revenue projections, are estimates for general information and planning only. They are based on typical industry ranges and simplified models, not on your actual account data.

  • No guarantee of income. We make no promise that you will earn any particular amount. Actual sponsorship fees depend on negotiation, audience demographics, content quality, brand budgets and timing. Actual ad revenue depends on platform eligibility, policies, advertiser demand, seasonality, viewer behaviour and factors only your own analytics can show.
  • Past and typical results aren't predictive. Benchmarks describe typical outcomes for other accounts. Your results may be higher or lower, and many creators earn little or nothing.
  • Not professional advice. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal or business advice. Before making decisions such as leaving a job, signing a brand contract or setting up a business, consult a qualified professional.
  • Platform rules change. Monetization programs, eligibility thresholds and revenue shares are set by the platforms and can change without notice. Always check the platform's current terms.

You use our tools and content at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, DigitalKari is not liable for decisions made or losses incurred on the basis of estimates from this site.
