Privacy Policy & Cookie Disclosure

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit digitalkari.com ("DigitalKari", "we", "us"), why, who receives it, and the choices you have. The short version: we don't run accounts, newsletters or our own tracking, and the numbers you type into our calculators never leave your browser. The site is funded by advertising from Google, which uses cookies as described below.
Who is responsible
DigitalKari operates this website and is the controller of personal data processed through it. For any privacy question or request, email info@digitalkari.com.
Information you enter into our calculators
All calculations run in your browser using JavaScript. Follower counts, views, names or anything else you type are not sent to us, and we do not store them. To make the "Copy link" button work, your inputs are added to the page address (the URL). That address stays on your device unless you share it, but like any web address it may appear in your browser history and, as the page URL, can be visible to services that load on the page, such as the advertising described below. Don't enter information you consider sensitive.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting and security logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example
__cf_bm) to distinguish people from bots. - Advertising data. Google and its partners collect information through cookies and similar technologies when ads load, as explained in the next section.
We do not use our own analytics cookies, we do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell any information we hold.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to show ads. In connection with this:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).

If you opt out of personalised advertising you will still see ads, but they will be based on the page you are viewing and general information such as your approximate location, rather than on your interests.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working; blocking advertising cookies will not affect the calculators.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
When you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google, a certified consent management platform, asks for your choices before personalised advertising cookies are used. You can accept, reject or customise by purpose and by vendor, and you can change your mind at any time:
Legal bases we rely on: consent for advertising and non-essential cookies; legitimate interests for keeping the site secure and delivering pages (hosting logs and security cookies); and legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information by law.
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Because we don't run accounts or store calculator inputs, we usually hold no personal data that identifies you. Most data relevant to you is held by Google, which you can manage at your Google account. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Visitors in the United States (including California)
This section supplements the policy for residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws, including the CCPA as amended by the CPRA.
- Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (IP address, cookie and device identifiers) and internet activity (pages viewed and interactions with ads), collected by our hosting provider and by Google and its partners through advertising technology.
- Purposes: delivering and securing the website, and showing and measuring ads.
- Sale or sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising partners to collect identifiers on our site for cross-context behavioural (personalised) advertising may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws. You can opt out with the "Do not sell or share my personal information" option in our privacy choices (the button above), or through Google Ads Settings.
- Sensitive information: we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
- Your rights: to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email info@digitalkari.com; we will verify requests as reasonably required and respond within the time the law allows (45 days under the CCPA). An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorisation.
Children
DigitalKari is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers and retention
Our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where data from the EEA or UK is transferred, they rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for limited periods for security purposes. Advertising data is retained by Google under Google's privacy policy. Any email you send us is kept only as long as needed to deal with your message, normally no more than 24 months.

Our pages link to other sites, and ads may lead to them. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices or the law change, and revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
